Sara
was born in Princeton, raised in Princeton, and schooled in Princeton.
She still lives there, and she might never leave. She spent much of her
childhood playing at her grandparents' house, where she preferred playing
with old envelopes, scrap paper, and cardboard over barbies and other girly
toys. She got her first taste of Princeton at the University League Nursery
School, declaring in an early autobiography that her favorite color was
orange and that she wanted to go to Princeton when she grew up. She moved
on to Community Park elementary school, and then spent four years at the
Princeton Charter School after realizing her parents were only kidding
when they told her it was a reform school for delinquent children. At
Princeton High School she joined the cross country and track teams and
spent four years more or less running around in circles. She lived up to the
expectations set by her four-year-old self and moved one mile down the
street to attend Princeton for college. After declaring her hatred for
history following high school, she became a history of science major with
French and Spanish certificates. Though she spent most of her waking hours
as a copy editor for The Daily Princetonian, she graduated and has worked
ever since as the Special Projects Editor for U.S. 1 Newspaper in Princeton.
